Ive always wondered about this. I created my ebay account after coming into a little money and my ebay name reflected this! but 95 positive feedbacks/100% record later Im not as financially 'secure' and I never really liked my ebay name

It should also be noted that you can only change it once every 30 days so you should make sure you're entering the User ID you want before you submit it.
