Multi flue stove on what hearth??

Anyone got a multi flue stove on light coloured hearth?? fitting new stove and new hearth. Been advised not to go light colour as it will stain quickly but really do not want to go for black/grey slate or granite. Have talked to several fitters and so many different professional opinions that hard to decide. Any advice??…

Tiles? If they are glazed use any colour you like, just don't let the installer damage them and use any grout colour other than white. Its not like you are having a fire on the hearth its only there to catch any embers to stop the house burning down. So concrete base tiled to suit?
