I think I might have pubic lice. I keep my pubes well trimmed (Im male) but they have been itchy sometimes lately. I have picked out 3 maybe 4 little lice things, but theres by no means a massive infestation.

Do people know if I can just go into the chemists and ask for something for them? I dont really want to go and pay the doctor for this. Thanks

If your itchy down there and your picking out little 'bugs'. Chances are you have them . What you could do is go to the chemist and get some head lice treatment (now i'm not sure head lice treatments work , but they work on the same principal so ......)

but the best solution to fight head lice is of course protection and by that i mean tight boxers and some sort of flame-thrower

Shave your ball's and surrounding area.
Not being funny here, but for a quick and easy way to get rid of them, just shave it off. It will grow back.

That way, they will have nowhere to hide.

Do NOT apply head lice treatments to your pubic area.
Public lice will burrow under the skin, shaving will not get rid of them alone.

Go to your dr asap, boil wash all your bedclothes and underwear as well and consider steam cleaning your mattress.
