    In fairness to some of the Irish camera shops the price gap has closed quite a bit. I like Hall Cameras and also found Conn's good to deal with.

    Apologies for the ever so slight thread hijack, but the OP may be interested in the answer to this question too;

    I know second hand lenses are always an option, especially for beginners like myself. So is there anywhere in particular that would be recommended for this? I know of Ffordes and Berminghams, but are there any other hidden gems? Also, is there anywhere to avoid?
