There is no reason why you could not easily do this.
I have never used Gmail's forwarding feature myself as I would prefer to set it up under POP3.

From the looks of it though you should only have to click the check box for Forwarding in the "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" section of your personal gmail account and then type your DCU email in the box.

If this doesn't work I would advise setting up your DCU Apps account to collect email from your personal account through POP3.

I've forwarded my DCU gmail onto my personal account which works fine. Not exactly what you are looking for, but hope it helps.

could you tell me the format of the new gmail apps email layout. I can recall my password but cannot recall my username.
Is it name@dcu.mail or name@gmail.com or some combination of both?
    thanks

Login via the DCU Apps login page, with your full DCU e-mail and your original password given to you at registration.

At least that's how I hope it works. For some reason even though they said your new pass would be the same as your original pass, mine was the same as the one I changed it to a couple of years ago, yet to IMAP I need to use the original one
