There was a huge bang outside my apartment block last night. Was a monster firework like one you would see at Skyfest or the like

The wee b*stard, that could've been well nasty! Any amount of places to get them over the border, signs everywhere on the side of the road. Jonesboro has loads usually:(.

Absolutely not true I have to say. My lad went to the Marist. Got great leaving results. They have monthly tests there and a monthly report is sent home with test and performance grades plus the days that were missed. Like every school there are some teachers better than others but over all they were really good. My two nieces go to St Vincents and Louis schools and both are doing well. I know many others who speak well of other schools.

Yeah I know it's about fireworks, apologies for not keeping to the topic. I'm always feel compelled to defend my town when people all over the country are reading here:o. If you've had a bad experience, you shouldn't tar every school with the same brush.

were do the wee ****ers get the money like there not cheap my bro got 10 bangers for 4euro

so if you notice money missing out of your purse/wallet you know why:D

It really depends on who is handling the fireworks. Round here, I`ve seen kids actually holding the fireworks while they`re lit and waiting to detonate! Obviously, idiotic children + fireworks = blind stupidity. However, a well organised display (for those who like that kind of thing), is probably fine.

so let me get this right burner, your brother has bangers, someone else's kid throws a banger and now you give out?

bit of a double standard there mate. unless of course you are supervising your brother when he uses the bangers ;)

but it really has gone nuts with the bangers again this year.after dark its every few minutes they go off.they get chucked into the porch,at people walking down the street,at animals etc. really annoying.

for gods sake dont give out to the little, erm, fellows. you will have mammy and daddy out defending thier right to be bas****s.

(please note that any speelling mistackes are a result of bloody lazziness on my part and dont assume i care if it offends you :p:D)
