I was going to get up at 5am for the qualifying but I've decided to head to bed soon and simply watch a recording of it while doing my best to avoid the results of it all day!

For the race though I will definately be up at 5am! Who's with me?

I'm pretty hammered at the moment so no I won't be up at 5 am.

Luckily enough I am an hour ahead so on Sunday the race starts at a more reasonable 7am which I will watch from bed anyway!

6 will do for me. Will more than likely just stay up for them tbh. Not missed more than a toilet break of this season's Quali/Racing so far I don't think. :)

will probably stay up for the practice session, then head to bed and skip Quali, and watch rerun of the race on Sun...Bernie get your act together, why cant they run the bloody race/quali at 9am over there (which would make it a respectable 1am over here :) )

Made a big mistake, had some Lucozade. All it does to me is make me crash 45 minutes later, ****ing knackered now. :(

Wasn't going to bother getting up early but then remembered you can't switch off Legard if you're watching reruns.

Note to the BBC: only getting 4.5 hours of sleep is preferable to listening to Legard.

    worth getting up for

pity about the third red flag, as in a ten minute session it left the drivers with only one run

Well worth getting up for! (I did get up in the end)

Does that allow you to switch to Red Button coverage and change commentary/on-board views?

I will be awake but its pointless. I am in Bahrain and the local stations don't show the F1. So I will be watching the net for updates.

Seriously? Surely it would be better for Bernie if they ****ing sorted out coverage in that country instead of giving them a ****ing Grand Prix.

Yes, I do reckon so. The stands are fairly empty here on GP weekend. I now think its for two reasons. One.....They don't get much F1 coverage. Two.....Sunday is a work day here so locals don't go.

Ridiculous ticket prices I though too? Also isn't the Grandstand pretty small, figure of ~40,000 is in my head somehow.

I really wish the forum stuff was available online to viewers in Ireland. I have Magnet TV/broadband so I don't have the red button option on the TV and I can't watch it online.

Shows where the priorities lie with the people who run and organise the sport, doesn't it? To stand on the track at Silverstone last year and tell packed grandstands of 120,000+ that "screw you you're not getting a race next year no matter what" when you're pimping a race that nobody attends and no locals can watch is a damning indictment.
