Free Dynamic Themes

    Hi,
    Since the upgrade to 3.0 we have had dynamic themes. The first free one to Surface was Afrika on the japanese store and then we had wipeout fury on the Irish store. In the past few minutes I have found Motor Storm Arctic edge in the latest section of the irish store. Is anybody aware of any more free ones out there or is there any pay ones that are really worth the price.

    Theres no vidzone theme, he was just showing how to get the app. The wipeout one though is free on euro stores.

    Sorry bout that, should have checked the vidzone one.
    I have the Wipeout one and the Afrika one.
    It does get boring after a while and i downloaded normal non-dynamic ones instead.

    Yeah you really have to turn down the brightness to -2 when using the Afrika theme so you can see the text better, the motorstorm one is good I like how it moves around different parts of the track.

    I'm not too impressed with the Wipeout or Motorstorm themes, tbh. I'm skicking with the sparkly background for now.

    Yeah same,

    Then seem slightly tacky tbh,
    Hopefully we can make our own soon enough like with the static themes.

    Theres so much that could be done instead of these.
    Like I expected Wipeout theme to be very minimal/ zone like instead of ship testing.

    I could have sworn I heard somewhere that we would be able to make our own sometime in the future. At least I think I did, I'll try to find a link later.

    Its a shame that a great feature like this will never see its full potential if that is the case.
    Why restrict people from promoting your product?

    Copyright infringement may be an issue, but hasn't stopped them allowing you to download certain video, music file types that were not legally purchased to the hd.

    Or game-sharing??

    That idea is fully used in the game it was marketing... littlebigplanet. It had nothing to do with the PS3 generally...

    I understand, but I believe that it was used in the Home campaign also.
    As in with the share video, music etc online which they eventually took out.

    I would be happy enough though even if you got a free/exclusive theme when you purchased a game.

    It would also give more of an incentive, and would limit second hand sales abit.
