Hey I am hiring a web developer soon to do a website for me, what would be a ballpark figure to get a solicitor to draw up a contract?

If you have used anyone in the past and were happy with the service provided could you pm the contact details

    Thanks

Howdy I work in this field myself, to be honest I'd be too busy to have a look myself (what recession?) but it really depends on what you're looking to get into it. Is this just an advertisment for your company or do you require a web based system?

I'll be able to give you some people to do it or just give you a hand vetting the prices you get.. PM me if you need.

usually developers and designers will have their own contracts, which you could get your solicitor to review and make any necessary amendments.

It sounds like an awfully drawn out way of having a site developed! I don't know how complicated the site you're proposing is or what the details are around it but personally I would look to some place like scriptlance.com to have it developed.

You're going to pay well over the odds to have it developed locally. I've probably spent about 2k for various projects on that site in the space of a year and have always been happy with the output and developers. The developers are rated so you choose who you want to work with at the best price. Drop me a pm about it if you want more info.
