Ok, here's something that's confusing me...

It seems like with a good few adjectives you use the "tá...orm/ort etc" structure. but with others you can simply use "Tá mé/tú etc"
just like I showed in the title:)...

"Tá mé tuirseach", "tá tuirse orm"

I'd just like to know when I should use which structure?

When you're talking about the feeling as a noun, you use the "Tá ... orm" format - fear is on me, happiness is on me, tiredness is on me etc. However it's also possible to use the adjectival form - I am afraid, I am happy, I am tired. Somtimes it's less common to use this form - I'd rarely say "Tá mé áthasach" instead of "Tá áthas orm" for "I'm happy" (although "tá mé sona/tá mé sásta" both work) - "tá mé eaglach/feargach/tuirseach" seems more ... I dunno ... right?
