Hi, my partner is about to start a 2.5k 6mth nail diploma course with a college. Just wondered if she is entitled to claim tax relief on the cost of the course?

    Thanks.

Probably not. You can check eligible course/colleges on the revenue website here

The course generaly has to be of a two years duration whether part-time or full-time.

However If she intends to go into business in this specific area then I think alot of her expenses including course fees, travel books etc. connected to this course could be tax deductable down the line if she is self-employed
