    http://www.cbs.com/primetime/three_rivers/

Premieres Sunday October 4th on CBS
Its a medical drama that goes inside the emotionally complex lives of organ donors, the recipients and the surgeons at the preeminent transplant hospital in the country, where every moment counts. However, dealing with donor families in their darkest hour and managing the fears and concerns of apprehensive recipients takes much more than just a sharp scalpel. Leading the elite team is Dr. Andy Yablonski, the highly-skilled workaholic lead organ transplant surgeon, whose good-natured personality and sarcastic wit makes him popular with his patients and colleagues. His co-workers include Dr. Miranda Foster, a surgical fellow with a rebellious streak and fiery temper who strives to live up to her deceased father's excellent surgical reputation; Dr. David Lee, a womanizing surgical resident who's broken as many hearts as he's replaced; Ryan Abbott, the inexperienced new transplant coordinator who arranges the intricately choreographed process of quickly and carefully transporting organs from donor to patient; Dr. Sophia Jordon, the dedicated head of surgery who has no patience for anyone who hasn't sacrificed as much as she has for the job; and Pam Acosta, Andy's no-nonsense operating assistant and best friend. In this high stakes arena, in which every case is a race against the clock, these tenacious surgeons and medical professionals are the last hope for their patients.

Yes another medical drama. I feel this might not make it but i will check it out only for Alex O'Loughlin :p

It's a wannabe Greys. I watched this because of Kate Moenning tbh. Very disappointing.

Tis a bit like Greys....it's CSI Miami mixed with Greys....CSI because of the fast editing, quick pace and use of flash tech. The hospital has the same type of translucent screens they use in the CSI lab.

NEVER have i seen anything like it in any hospital, mad!

CBS critically-panned new drama “Three Rivers” opened Sunday to underwhelming ratings, putting up numbers that were soft in comparison to both its lead-in and the timeslot occupant last year.
The show opened to 9.2 million viewers and a low 2.0 in adults 18-49.

    not good

Any further thoughts on this show?....i watch it, but only because Sunday is slow for telly watching, not much stateside on Sunday that interests me. I guess it'll eek out it's 13 ep. run and be axed in the upfronts.

I don't ike hose shows, too dark and gritty.

Again I'm only watching it for Kate Moennig but I've gotten quite into it. The story has improved and most of the characters are quite likable except for O'Loughlin who just annoys me tbh. It's very CSI-y which I disliked at the start but enjoy now. Coolest hospital ever tbh :p

Nah....Mercy is the best, my opinion on Trauma has changed a bit. It's got a bit better since the third ep. - less flash/bang/whallop.....more story, a tad. It's not massively improved but has got a wee bit better.

Rivers ranks the worst still, Mercy i do like....it's the characters i think, it's not too ER and not too Greys.
