So whats the craic with animals becoming the undead?

I am thinking of the scene in I am Legend when Will Smith had to snap the neck of his faithful friend.

What the fook would you do if you were faced with a pack of Z dogs?

I know in Resident evil they're dispatched pretty quickly with a kick to the head but i'd like to see what would happen when faced with an Irish Greyhound as and example?

In I Am Legend the film version, Sam (best performance in the film btw:) ) was infected with the same virus that infected the humans. They were not undead, just mutated with hugely accelerated metabolic systems.

If in the event of a proper Z outbreak animals could be infected, then it is game over.

I maintain that the outbreak will be human only though, at least that is what I want it to be. :D

The idea of facing zombie rats etc does not tickle my fancy.

Rats will most likely carry the plague like in Resident Evil, but an actual zombie rat? now that would be scarey. They're already f*cking ba*tards to start with, do we really need them to be infected as well.

    Oh God....

This is quickly becomming one of those 'we need a bigger boat...' moments....

Hypocondriacts and OCD hand washers will be the only ones who will survive.
    :(

now that you mention it, zombie fish? if that happens, we're all going vegetarian, and i'd take a bullet to the head before giving up a tuna steak.

what if it spread to insects? they might infect crops? we'd better build one of these soon.

I'd have more trouble doing the dog in than I would the family. Although I plan on having the dog to keep me company through the lonely days roaming the Irish wastelands after the zombies have taken over.

Now apply this quote to Knackers and scumbags. It also applies but its implications are worse.

Weed + Zombie outbreak = bad idea.

"Oh my god, they're breaking in through the fence!"
"So what man? Just take it easy, don't worry about all that stuff, here"
