We recently got two Dell NX3000 box in work that are running Windows Storage Server 2008 and have a crap load of storage space and ram since they are our primary and secondary local FnP Servers.

The only problem I have is I was hoping to run Hyper-V on these but it looks like M$ has stripped it from Storage Server.
Does anybody know if there is a way of hacking SS to allow HV to be installed.

Unlikely you can do this since they're production boxes but install Hyper-V first and then install Win Storage 2k8 into Hyper V

I need to attached a backup drive via fiber so running the File/Print Win 2K8 under H-V is a no-go.

I'm going to the Win7 / Win 2K8R2 this next week so I might try and ask some of the M$ guys :?
