Niggling Problem

    Hi Guys,

Hope I'm posting this in the right area.

Basically my left knee have been giving me and awful lot of jip lately.

I ran the Dublin half marathon last week and since then I have had this pain in the left side of my left knee - If I run now I experience this excruciating pain in the bone in the left side of my knee - it's so bad that I'm unable to bend it for a time afterwards - it's like it just locks up. I'm guessing it has something to do with the constant pounding on my legs on the concrete when I'm running (I try where possible to run on the grass).

Anybody experience any similar problem and can suggest some quick remedies or is it a case of seeing a professional and plenty of rest?

    Thanks.

    EireEV

Can't get medical advice here.... but it sound like you should go to a physio. Worse case they tell you to rest and give you an explanation to the cause.
