You have this flash ad going on somewhere for a PS3 or something - its gone and brought my desktop to its knees. Just a lowly 3.5ghz single core with internal graphics. Do you have any control over what ads are shown or if theres a way I can set in my CP if I just want to see static ads?

Myself and Ross? No, we don't have anything to do with the ads other than making the box they go in. [EDIT]I should probably clarify this by saying that if an ad is offensive or broken then we can go to the advertising people and sort something out.[/EDIT]

Were the effects long-lasting or only while the ad was visible?

I've had ads on several sites give me a big CPU spike before but none ever caused anything more serious than a bump in fan speed.

Not at this time, there's currently no way for us to serve separate streams of static and moving ads as far as I know.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
