    Hey,

    This is driving me mental!!

Bought the lappie about 3 weeks ago, by default the tap feature on the touchpad is set ON, Im running Windows 7, I tried installing the synaptic drivers to control the touchpad, but currently they dont do them for Windows 7.

I tried installing the vista 64 bit version, but then it renders my pad useless and I needed to use a restore point to delete the drivers as they wouldnt uninstall for some reason.

why I want to configure it?....I need to turn the tapping feature OFF, typing on the lappie is a pain, its a bit of a design flaw as when you type, the corner of your thumb touches the upper right hand corner of the touchpad, clicking on something that you dont want it to. This is unavoidable unless I devise a new way of typing!

just typing out this thread, the accidental taps sent my typing indicator into the middle of my message 3 times, even having moved the mouse around...

Anyone have a solution to this?...

    Thanks.
