    Scenario:
Company makes several redundancies in different departments due to lack of revenue. Say 4 months later one of those jobs is replaced as business as a whole picked up. Is that legal?

I believe redundancy is unfair if someones job is replaced as that means have been unfairly dismissed? However I can't find details on the length of time that has to occur to make it a fair redundancy. Is economic situation a valid claim to make it legal? The position in question would have been busy enough even if finaces not what they should be for company as a whole.
