I'm planning to translate my site to a few languages and wondering would anyone be able to guide me on costs? Is it generally by page or word count? How much? Any advice is appreciated.

Translators will quote prices based on either. You'll also find that pricing will vary on how you deliver the original text and how you want them to deliver the final product

Best place to look for translators would probably be http://www.proz.com
