Congratulations to boardsie RE*AC*TOR who stormed to victory in the Irish Cup Tasting Championships. He went into the final knowing only a perfect 8/8 in a sub 4.30 time would do and then managed to do it in 2.45 leaving a lot of us, well, gobsmacked. An incredible showing.

RE*AC*TOR now goes on to compete in the World Cup Tasting championships in London June 2010 where he will no doubt do us all proud!

Well done lad, of course it's only a small section of society that will appreciate your achievement but you're among friends here. :D

I think between Colin's blog post and mine, we have it mostly covered.
18 competitors, 6 into the final. The way it was worked was in groups of 3 at a time. 2 of the first 3 finalists got all of them right, so my only chance was to do it quicker than they did, and luckily I did.

Tis a good competition, good to watch, audience get's quite involved with the reveal part (when you find out if you got them right or not).
