    Hi,
been on a bit of a chase here - in short, purchased a mid conversion 1973 VW Beetle 1303 (curned windscreen). Hood doesn't fit (Is battered and worn anyway) and need to get new one. As these are not the standar cabrios, I need to trace the manufacturer of the bars on the car.

    Pictures here: http://s291.photobucket.com/albums/ll292/PlekTrum_album/VW%20BEETLE/

Was onto Paris Beetles and its not one of their kits (I can however 'begin again" but would rather try and locate one to fit bars supplied first).

ALL help and advice appreciated - car is located in Kerry.

Could be a Wizard kit, they went out of business years ago....

There was another crowd selling the kits after Wizard, but it looks like they're gone too.

The car looks tidy but the hood is battered to s**t,why is that?

No idea why the hood is in such bad shape - i reckon it was left lying on wet ground for years and was just thrown in with the car.. literally! Yeah, not the most convincing set up and I think longterm starting again with a full and proper fitting kit is the way to go. Thanks for your help, appreciate it - nice winter project to be getting on with!
