I have an hounours degree in Business Studies and I was considering undertaking this Diploma course in Management. I was just wondering what your thoughts would be with regards to the worthiness of doing this course when I already have a business degree. Do you think it would assist in adding to my appeal of my educational background i.e what i am trying to say is would employers really give a hoot about it considering I already covered some of the subject areas with the Business degree or would it pretty much be a waste of 2 years and I should do something else

In this climate, I personally believe the more education/experience you have, the better your chances.

However, there is no point in doing a course "for the hell of it". I wouldn't worry about any overlap with your business degree, that's almost a given for all post-grad courses.

However, I would look into how well accredited that organisation is (i.e. the ICM). It also doesn't give any indication at what level on the National Qualifications Framework that course fits. i.e. you have an honours degree, which is Level 8, is that course a Level 7 course, or a Level 8 course?
