    Hi all,
I've heard recently that Declan Ganley is getting his money from people who have gambled on the irish banks to fail? Is this true?

I saw him last night on Vincent Browne debating lisbon with Micheál Martin and i dunno, there's just something about him that i dont like cant quite put my finger on it...

He says that his charecter has been assinated by the yes side is this true?
Basically im just trying to get the inside track on this guy. He only appeared on the scene during the last lisbon referendum where did he come from? is he even irish??

Please dont turn this into a lisbon debate(im sure there are plenty of threads discussing lisbon) im just trying to get information about this man. **MODS feel free to move this if its in the wrong place.**
    Thanks :D:D

He is Irish. Just has an English accent as he spent time there.
Tbh, I think the accent plays a part in why people are suspicous of him.

Interesting, looks like his nationality is actually under question.

Spent time there. And was born there. And grew up there. And went back there as soon as he left school.

There's no shame in coming from England, should be nothing to hide.

Irish or English is irrelevant, the chap has more loyalty to the US of A than either of them.

ok so he's involved with the US military through this Rivada Networks. tbh thats scary. That means the Americans have a vested interest in how we vote tomorrow..is he just their puppet?

So is this where his campaign money comes from!!

And he's also using offshore tax havens!
thanks to all for posting links to this info much appriceated.

I dont think if his nationality is under question he should be trying to influence the irish vote. If he is in fact irish then fair enough

O and there's the donations he got from Crispin Odey, the British hedge fund manager that short sold Anglo shares, precipitating the bank sliding under, and making millions for himself ( a salary last year of €35 million ) and the people in his fund... at the expense of the Irish banking sector. The same guy was also behind the collapse of Bradford & Bingley in the UK as it happens.

Alas, no. However, the thread certainly hasn't improved any in transit.
