    Hi, anyone got any really cheap quotes for server hosting, I need a server for 2 - 3 months and dont really want to go down the route of purchasing it, I'd rather just rent one.

    Would a VPS do, Dediserve.ie and BlackNight offer Virtual private servers both are excellent.

    Also Dediserve are offering dedicated servers for €70 / m

    Dedicated server contracts last longer than 2- 3 months, more like 12 - 18 month contracts.

    If you ring a hosting company like Hosting365 and speak to one of the sales lads and explain what you want it for and If it works out you'll keep it for longer they may offer you a deal, may.

    Then again there might be another company that will accommodate you but in my experience the contracts are longer than 3 months.

    Have you tried OVH? You wont consider anyone else after you have tried their servers. Some of the best peering in Europe aswell. Short contract are available but there are setup fees. Their kimsufi range is great do depending on budget.
