3e to Sky 105

    TV3 today confirmed that SKY Ireland will move TV3’s second channel 3e to SKY 105 on the SKY digital box. The move will take place in October 2009.

    TV3 CEO, David McRedmond said, “We are very pleased by SKY’s decision to move 3e to a prime position on their EPG. This reflects the change of the status of 3e to a public service channel. We are grateful to SKY for recognising the importance of Irish broadcasting to viewers in the Republic of Ireland”.

    So TV3 is a Public Service Broadcaster interesting, I have been told that TV3 don't even like being called a National Broadcaster preferring to be referred to a Commercial Broadcaster.

    3e Public Service Broadcaster ROFL.

    I wonder how many new channels will be given EPG positions on One Vision when ever it is launched.
