I've been looking around for a while now for an app that is suited to my family business. Basically I need it to be able to store contacts, keep stock of parts and draw up personalised invoices. Having a scheduler would also be handy.

Anyone know of something that might suit me? Most of the apps on Apple's download page do these jobs seperately but I'd like something that includes all of them

    cheers

The only software that I'm aware of that might meet your needs is Big Business unless you want to create your own database system using something like the FileMaker products.

Have you tried looking on VersionTracker?

I think MYOB would do all that apart from the scheduling. I know there are more expensive versions of it too, that might do it.

If you are just looking at purchasing systems, then take a look at PO Control:

    http://www.pocontrol.com/

It's an Irish company which says it has developed a front end for the Mac.

Hi Tom, thanks for the plug :)

Another product I think will suit you perfectly for general company administration is JobPro Central:

    http://www.jobprocentral.com/

Its not that cheap but is very effective. I know it's used by a number of design companies who hold it in high regard
