    So, I'm pretty new to the forums :P Just wondering, what is your favourite race in the DoW series, from either 1 and its expansions, or from II.

    Personally, I'm a big fan of the Space Marines (surprise surprise :P ), but I'm also fond of the IG, mainly due to their artillery. I also like the Tau, but feel they made a mistake not giving them turrets, makes defending an area a fair bit harder.. The Broadsides just shoot too slowly to be very effective against a few squads.

    I've only really played DoW 2. My favourite race would be Space Marines by a long distance, with Nids being least favourite.

    Yeah, not a fan of the Nids myself, they are like a less advanced version of the orks IMO, relying on numbers too much.

    I was never a fan of the orcs/orks, but out of all the Commanders in the Dark Drusade game, Goregutz was, by a mile, my favourite. Some of his comebacks to the other commanders in the base levels were pretty funny
