Windows Server 2008 on a laptop?

    Folks,

I'm thinking of reinstalling my laptop, it's a fairly old but beefy Dell Vostro 1700 with 4gigs of ram, 2 GHz dual core CPU and 7200rpm hard drive. I'm running Vista x64 at the moment and it's quite bloated.

These days I'm mainly using it for the internet and office, but I do development in Visual Studio 2008 and Eclipse (.NET/Java) when work comes along.

I've installed Windows7 on a netbook and really like the improvement over Vista. So I'm thinking either go with win7 or server 2008. I used to play games casually, might eventually go back to playing world of warcraft or something similar. I know it runs on server 2008 so that shouldn't be a problem.

Anyone have experience with windows server 2008 on a laptop, used more like a workstation rather than a server?
