    Hi All,

Any chance someone would have or know where there's a 1985 MR2 scrapped. I'm having a lot of brake issues & my next step is to replace the brake bias valve & then the brake master cylinder. I've tried a few of my contacts in the UK but they don't have any at the moment. Some of the guys on E-bay don't seem to like responding when they find I'm in Ireland. Has to be for a MR2 MK1A which limits it to 1985 or early 1986. Saw one for sale near Newcastlewest recently. There was plenty of rust & I was interested in buying it for parts but the price was ridiculous.

    Hope someone can help,

    T.

Thanks, Unkel. Will do. Most scrappy's have the post '86 type (called the MK1B) but not the earlier MK1A.

    Thanks,

    T.

have you tried the UK Mk1 MR2 clubs? There's two that I know of, Google them. I restored a series1 Mk1 (early '86) for my brother in law this year. He was able to source most of the bits he needed (rear left quarter panel, repairs for the rear right quarter, high leve brake light, caliper rebuild kits, new disks etc) through the club in the UK.

You should put your Derby story up here. I know the lads would appreciate it, even a ctrl+v would do :)

Sorry for the off topic OP
