    Hi.

I don't know where to start. I guess lately ive realised how much everything has built up over the course of years and years. You know how people bottle things up and ignore them or hope things will just fix themselves, but what if they just build up and up and at some point it all becomes too much,?

Tbh, I'm low, really low. and i have been for a long long time. theres some serious things that have happened me and i never got over/addressed them/accepted them/whatever term of denial you want to use. theres a lot of stuff, but lately i feel like i need to talk to someone, anyone just someone that could listen without judging me or getting offended by things i have to get off my chest.

I'm lost as to who or where or what i do. I've been raised by a family who never heard of depression etc and a been treated by a GP who thinks everything is sorted by antibiotics.

Psychiatrist? psyhcologist? whats the difference? who should i talk to? how do i talk to someone?

I feel lost in my life right now, aswell as this decision.

Try a counsellor rather than a psychiatrist or psychologist. Counsellors are non judgemental and all you will do is talk out your issues. Try the IACP website. for a list of counsellors and therapists. From personal experience it'll cost you about 60 euro a session but you might only need about 5 or 6 sessions. Some counsellors will apply reduced fees in some cases as far as I know. If you are in college there will probably be a counsellor on campus. You won't believe the peace of mind some counselling will give you. For your own sake don't delay.
