    Hi All,

Just got a fill of Oil for the tank in our new house - the plumber from the letting agency bleed the tank and it all seemed grand.

The radiators downstairs are all well heated up but the ones upstairs only seem to heat at the bottom while the top of them are stone cold!!

I have tried turning teh knob on the radiator the opposite way but that just seems to turn them off completly..

    Any advice?

You have air in the rads!
If you don't know how to bleed them you are best getting someone who does know!!

Bleeding is now problem but sometimes you can bleed to much and drop the pressure. Can you not get the plumber back. Just in case.

Dont disconnect anything that is not disconnected already.Just understand the repressurising bit in case you need it from letting to much air out

It sounds like your system is lacking water/pressure. Have you checked your pressure guage? It should be around 1 bar when the system is cold. You'll need to locate the filling valve and top up and bleed accordingly.
