So i'm thinking of doing away with the stereo system and getting me self some 2.1 speakers for the lappy, considering its what i play most of my music through and even listen to the radio through it

thinking maybe wireless, so when i'm lazing about the house i'm not restricted by wires, but only wireless ones i have seen the satalite speakers are palm sized, but no mention on if the subwoofer is wired or not

anyone have any experience, or any recomendations

    ;)

What about getting a nice pair of headphones instead.I have a pair of Sennheiser HD515's and they sound as good as my HK Soundsticks II (which are a 2.1 system, cost me €200,very good)

If its for a laptop then it probably makes sense to get headphones,I dont think there is such a thing as a wireless sub.

If you want to give me a budget,I can recommend you a nice pair of headphones :)

tbh, was specifically looking at speakers, as usally go off to sleep with radio or music on. as for the sub, think your right. would settle for a 2 speaker set if seen a good wireless set with good out put and bass
