Clonliffe and Raheny are the big two that come to mind

Zoom into North Dublin and you'll see the options.

I am not a northsider so it doesn't affect me, but here are my opinions.

If are interested in track and field, Clonliffe might be better as they have the use of Morton Stadium. Some good runners there and regular national championship winners. I would be a little bit concerned with the presence in their teams of Alistair Cragg and Josphat Boit, neither one from the local community, but good luck to them for their opportunism.

Raheny Shamrock, on the other hand, have a small clubhouse but a great spirit and lots of good runners in all age groups. A very nice group of people who make people very welcome. They put on a great race in January each year and loads of smaller races throughout the year. You would enjoy running with them so, on balance, I would plump for Raheny.
