    Do we need them for this first lab tomorrow? If so when does the Student's Union Shop open, if it doesn't open before 9, I won't have a labcoat for the lab . . .

    Yup, I was really looking forward to it at the time. There is one lab in 3rd year that you wear labcoats for as you use some chemicals, but that's it (unless they've changed it). You don't really need labcoats when you're messing around with lasers and stuff.
