Mods: I know this probably doesnt belong here but i've already asked in the Music forum and no one knows so please dont delete it...pretty please???

    I has a question...

As you can probably tell by my sig, I want to get standing tickets for Paramore in the o2 on 12/Dec but they are sold out, only seated tickets are still available. I normally wouldnt mind buying a seated ticket but a few of me mates already bought their standing tickets and if we could all be in the same place it'd be great.

My question is this, if we buy seated tickets and get into the seated area, is there any way we'd be able to get down to the standing area?

    anyone??

Should be possible, when you get there go to the box office and ask can you switch.

I think you can just walk down to standing but I'm not sure tbh

More than likely actually, was working the other night and by the end we had only one entrance open so it can be assumed that people can enter everywhere once you are in.

thats what i thought but i want to be 100% sure. im not mad on the idea of buying 2 tickets if two of us will be stuck upstairs while all our mates are downstairs

Yeah that would be ****. I know in the RDS it doesn't make a diff but I think if the gig is sold out for health and safety reasons they bring yu to your seat otherwise standing would be packed and they could be shut down.

No you won't allowed to because of overcrowding issues. If you buy a seating ticket, you won't be allowed into the standing area.

Pretty easy to do this, i did it for AC/DC and it worked a treat, here's a step by step

    1. You need 2 people to go into standing area with standing tickets

    2. When in standing Area get 1 person to carry both of standing tickets and go upstairs onto foyer, you'll prob need to show 1 ticket to get past the security

    3. Meet up with the person with seating ticket in the drinks/toilet area, prob need a mobile so you'll find each other.

    4. Give the person 1 of the standing tickets, keeping 1 for yourself

    5. Go back down to standing area, showing your standing ticket to security to go past, i'd split up here, just in case the security guy see's you with some1 else and susses whats going on

    6. Meet up with the person you left in Standing area

Pretty easy and foolproof, i've done this in many arena's in UK too and worked every time

Well he's posted the method online now so there's less chance of it working as they'll be looking out for people doing it. :p

It does, I remember we got mates into feile years ago using a similar trick. We would take wristbands off once inside and a lad would go out and glue them back onto 5 guys outside and they all get in. If you were spotted without a band by security you just claimed it was ripped off in the crowd, and the guys without bands would carry a ticket as backup.

yeah, but if you're careful and don't hand the ticket over to your mate in full view of security they can't do **** about it, your mate is in possession of a genuine standing ticket. ;);)
