Anybody here skied Utah? A group of us were looking at Canada, but with the Winter Olympics and Parlaympics in 2010, it's looking like it'll be pricey and super crowded.

So we're checking out options in North America, and so far, Utah looks pretty awesome, but I'd love to get some feedback from anyone who has been- what resort did you go to, or did you drive between many? Accommodation wise, did you rent a condo or did you hotel it?

There's gonna be max 10 of us, and we're looking at making the trip mid February. Any thoughts appreciated...

I suggest looking at Jackson Hole in Wyoming. Truely aaaawwwessoome. Seriously though, Jackson is on the edge of the Yellowstone national park and is a great mix of good old boy cowboy town and freeriding skiiing.

If you are really up for it you can try Corbetts Couloir

Thanks Trapper- it definitely sounds like it's worth consideration. One of the lads spent a couple of days there last year and said it was epic. Am I correct in saying that it requires an internal flight from Denver to Jackson? That may put some off, but I'll do some more research...

I was living in London at the time and went via Salt Lake City.

tbh, it's going to take you a day+ to get to a ski resort in western states, so an extra 2 hrs won't make much difference.
My view is if you are going all that way, you should make it memorable. But I've not skied anywhere else in the US, so what do I know.
