Upc Modem/Router

Anyone else have this new router upc are using it's a router and modem in one and it has wireless. I think my one might be faulty or maybe they are completely useless.
The wireless was always dropping the connection for no apparent reason and now has stopped working the ssid shows up but I can no longer connect. Same problem on more than one computer.
I now have to use an old wireless router connected via ethernet to get wireless around the house.
Anyone else have any problems so i know before I ring them?
