I am hoping to go to Boston at the end of October for a few days. Has anyone been around this time of year. I am just trying to figure out what the weather will be like though I am guessing pretty similar to here until November/December.

If anyone has any "must do's" or " Must see's" perhaps you could also reply.

    Thanks!

Really nice time of the year to visit Boston and New England in general

The autum clolurs are fabilous that time of yaer, espically nort and west of Boston.

Plus there are a lot of Halloween things going on, Salem (of witch fame) is worth a visit)

Weather can be very pleasant too, getting a bit cold but mostly very dry.

Weather will be similar to here, but beware that the weather in New England can change in literally 2 minutes, really!

Hopefully the Red Sox will be in the World Series game (baseball) so the city will be completely crazy and great fun.

Check out Boston on Wikipedia give you some sort of image of the place. I lived there for a prolonged period so it's hard to give advice on things to do for short weekend. Are you planning on driving? If you are you can take a trip to Cape Cod, as mentioned above the colours throughout New England are beautiful with the changing of seasons. Taking a trip to Vermont via New Hampshire is totally adorable and if it's something like this you are after rather than the hurly burly of a city then this is the perfect place to take such a trip.
