Network a mac and a pc

Hey guys i'm using a pc with windows 7 on it as my main pc and I also have a mac mini with leopard on it connected to my tv, I'd like to be able to view video files I have stored on my pc through the mac. Can anyone tell me how this is done?

Ok i've tried everything I know and the computers still can't see each other so I guess there must be something very easy to fix this any ideas?
