Being a non-national I will ask this question to all you Irish.
What is the most romantic place to visit in Ireland?
Obviously I can find the top 10 nice places to visit but I'm sure there are place less know which equal or greater beauty.
Just look for a nice place to pop a question to my loved one. :D

Anywhere can be romantic if you make the occasion feel that way. You kind of answered your own question in saying that there is so many nice places to visit. Choose one of them and try and make the whole encounter special. Personally I think it's impossible to single out one particular place that you could tag as being romantic, just do your upmost to make it that way.

If you can go outside Ireland, how about a thatched cottage in Wales?

    Always found the Burren beautiful.
More of a place to shack up in remoteness though...
