    RE:TECH was started in January 08 by a couple of members of Re:publik, A long running house night in Waterford. They saw an opening for a new Techno night to be run in Waterford. The night was run montly and consisted of residents Joe Gould & Alan Harris and regional guests like Diamaid O' Meara and Darren Rice performed. Phil Kieran then performed at the night but the Re:publik members were finding it more difficult to run the night due to their commitments with their own house nights so residents Joe Gould & Alan Harris decided to keep the night going themselves. The night has gone from strenght to strenght in 2009 and has seen Billy Nasty, Ignition Technition, Fergie, Joel Mull and Joris Voorn all perfrom so far this year. With more nights planned into 2010 the future looks good for RE:TECH.
