missed freshers - Can I join socs?

    So...

    I missed freshers week.. but, thankfully, I am not a pig, so I can attend from monday just gone onwards.

    However, I *really* want to go to the DU players lunch time showings, and the Fisk/Chomsky chinwag in the GMB.

    Do I need to Join the DU players Soc, the Hist and the Phil to do these thingys?
    If so.. how?

    Probably yes for players, maybe yes for the other two, depending on how many people show up for debates.
    Best thing to do is probably just email them.

    You'll definitely need to join the Hist to get into that. auditor [at] thehist.com is the address of the guy in charge (his name's Jamie), give him an e-mail and he should be able to point you in the right direction.

    There is a postgrad's clubs & socs day in the Atrium from 2-4 today. A lot of the big societys will be there so pop aloong and join then.
