below pictures taken from the back of the tires: front left - front right, back left - back right

The tires on the left have the same orientation of the threads, same the ones on the right, but should the left-right be mirrored?

They look to be fitted correctly. They look to be non directional tyres but have an inside and outside, asymmetric's :)

Silly question perhaps, but does it say either direction, or outside / inside on the tyres? Even an arrow?

Yes they are correct, are they continentals? On tyres with a well defined drainage channel the channel must always be to the outer edge of the wheel allowing incoming water to be dispersed more efficently.

it says "outside" on all of them.
they are Continental Premium Contact 185/60 R15 84H..

So obviously the smaller curved threads do not need to be symmetrical left-right then...

àre they approximatly positioned at each corner of the car then yes if theres 2 at any 1 corner and none at another try redistributing the tyre heavy corner
