    The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus

Could be amazing, and its got a hell of a cast with Christopher Plummer then you have Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law and of course Heath Ledger all playing the same character, plus its Terry Gilliam doing big fantasy style stuff again as only he can, lets hope its more like Brazil and not like The Brothers Grimm

On a nice side note, Farrell, Law and Depp all gave up their fees for the movie to Ledgers daughter, just goes to show the level of respect people had for him in Hollywood

A sequel to ”Låt den rätte komma in” (Let the Right One In), a vampire film directed by Tomas Alfredson (2008). Apparently the Americans are attempting a remake of this film (not a sequel), calling it “Let me in,” but I am not confident they will outperform the original Swedish film which was horrifically delightful.

The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus +1
    - really looking forward to this

    Alice in Wonderland
    - I love this story and hope that Tim&co do a good job on it! It is such a trippy story and Tim Burton is such a trippy director that I am expecting great things here!

Cant be bothered with Alice in Wonderland, sooo sick of Burton only making movies with Depp and his missus in them, i liked Sweeney Todd but theres only so many Tim Burton movies where Depp can play a kooky guy who wears stripy things before it wears thin

Unfortunately Shutter Island has been pushed out into 2010 as Paramount apparently don't have the money for two Oscar pushes and have decided that Peter Jackson's The Lovely Bones is a better bet.

    Good god Legion looks fun.

The Road although if its done right then I don't know if I'd exactly be looking forward to it.

And 2012, I haven't really enjoyed seeing things getting blown up since Independance Day but that trailer makes me feel 13 again

The Informant! looks like it has a great comedy performance from Matt Damon.

Personally, I sincerely hope the trailer for The Road doesn't properly represent the tone of the final film. Anyone who's read the book knows the tone is melancholic and quiet with sporadic moments of horror, yet the trailer makes the film look like typical Hollywood blockbuster trash. But then, Harvey Weinstein probably had the trailer cut that way to draw in the crowds.

Thought this would be anything but a typical hollywood blockbuster and I got this impression from the trailer as I have not read the book. I suppose we would be looking at the trailer from two different points of view. One who has read the book and one who hasnt.

Just looking at the list. There is a lot of end of the world type movies.

9, The Road, 2012, Zombieland, The Book of elli. Legion, Even Daybreakers to an extent. Mankind on the brink sort of stuff. It must be the in thing this year and next.

I really like the look of '9' and Avatar for curiosity alone. Further down the line Rambo 5! Predator meets the tracking skills of Croc Dundee and Universal Soldier.
