Another DCM question from a novice!

I'm behind in my prep for the DCM and am looking for advice as to whether I should run 20 miles on 3/10 and 18 on 10/10 or vice versa?

Longest run so far has been 16 miles and felt comfortable.

    thanks

20 on 3/10 and maybe around 15/16 on the 10/10 is more what I'd go for.

I had also planned 20 and 16, would like to get more opinions on this.

    I'd go over 20 miles. I did a 24 today and a 22 last week. then 20, 16 & a 12 or 8.

You really feel the sugar low over 20 miles - well worth it but hard work.

Is that really a sugar low or glycogen depletion? I get a serious low after lsr's but i'm not sure if its lack of fuel (sugar) or glycogen. I think its the later as I do take gels.

Anyway, OP, yeah longer one first seems to be what most plans have. 20 then 16 sounds about normal to me.

probably glycogen depletion but the reduction in available sugars puts you into that trance like state you get at the end of a marathon where you're slogging it out.
