Vista Driver Problem

    Not sure where to put this, move if you wish,

    anyway, I have a vestax vci 100 midi controller im wanting to use on traktor pro on my laptop running vista sp2 through usb, powered through the same usb also. Anyway, when I connect the vestax to the laptop, it wont power on completely, just the red light showing there's power comes on.

    If you've never used one of these, to know when the vestax is completely working, all the light
    s on the controller for the buttons etc. come on, but not for me.
    I think though it got the drivers a few weeks ago, but I cant seem to find out if it did. The controller is working though, as it works on my desktop using vista sp2 and traktor pro fine.

    Anyway, is there any way to manually search the vista driver database for them, as they're isn't any for the controller on the net, but vista got the drivers for the controller on my desktop.

    Whenever I plug in the Vestax VCI 100 into the usb port now and turn it on, it now says "USB device not recognised". I guess this means vista is now slightly recognising it, but how do I get it to get the drivers and mainly get the thing to work, as It works fine on my desktop, so the Vestax is not broken. Is there something I need to do i.e. delete drivers, files etc?
