What are peoples opinion on the above, I've been offered a swap to a 2005 model 3dr Hatch.

Are there any known issues or anything especially to look out for ?

    Thanks

The power steering pump pipe usually go but since this is a 05 I'd say its done already. The new pipe that probably would have been fitted was upgraded and are trouble free. I don't see any of them anymore.

Another thing with them engines water can get in the middle of the rocker cover and cause a miss fire and generate a fault code. nothing series.

They rarely give trouble and I suspect theres alot of focus drivers here maybe they can give you there opinion. Extremely reliable car.

There just the same as manual but instead of cables and actuators changing gear theres a few electric doing the job and the clutch. Keeps the cost down and are trouble free.

Anyone advise if the auto would be much harder on petrol over the auto version?

The exact same, if anything it could be that bit more efficient because the computer shifts and the gear and engages/disengages the clutch so no driver errors there.
