Is it possible to transfer college?

I'm from Waterford and I am currently attending college in Dublin. (TCD)
Now, this whole fees business has me scared as my father's hours are being cut and I'm worried about money.

We have relatives in Cork City who said they'd be willing to accomodate me for the year (so technically 4/5k off accomodation, we'd only be paying college fees)

In my 2nd year, would it be possible to transfer from TCD to UCC? (Doing Arts (History) or something)? Cheers.

Who should I speak to in college about this?

You could work next summer and save up for 2nd year's accomodation
    Apply for a grant?
Or you could transfer for 2nd year to UCC but you won't be covered by the governments free fees scheme you will have to pay the full fees as a Non-EU person would.
    It's a big decision.
I'm in TCD too, go see your tutor about this. If you don't know who your tutor is email the senior tutors office (on tcd website)

    Thanks a million, guys.

We applied for the grant but are not eligible.

Just made my day and my entire year. :D
