I found a learner permit application form at home dated June 2008.

Would it be ok to fill in this form and hand it in or will I have to get a new one?

It would probably better to get a new one, just to be sure, as it may have changed.

They aren't hard to get - just go into your Motor Tax Office and take one. You probably won't even need to queue up (or take a number etc).
