I just caught the end of a conversation about something that will be happening tonight. It'll be quite fantastic by the sounds of it. It will be easily visible to the eye and easily photographed.

But I haven't got a clue what it is or when it's supposed to happen?

    Anyone know?

I think what you heard was that jupiter and the moon being very close to each other tonight.

Just spotted it when I went to empty the bin, Beautiful Sight, Lucky enough to live out the country so no street lights to dim the view :D

I was out last night trying to photograph it. I must say the conditions were perfect even if the resulting photograph isn't :)
